At Hope Baptist Church, we understand the incredible generosity of God showing His eternal love through the Gospel of Jesus and giving Himself up for us. We also believe God has called every believer to respond in obedience to God's commands and his generosity, mercy, and grace to the world.
One way in which we show this is in taking care of our finances and living with an open-handed generosity with all the gifts God has so graciously given to us.
GIVING THAT'S NOT COMPLICATED
Just start with the tithe.
Sometimes people just don't know where to start, cuz the math doesn't always make sense. God knew money would be a test of our hearts, so fortunately, He made it simple. He gives us the ability to make a living. He keeps the breath in our lungs and our synapses firing. We just start by giving 10% back for having been entrusted with 100% to begin with. If you really think it through, it's a pretty easy exchange.

Life is complicated enough, so we figured if God made it easy, we should make it easy too.
If you are a UK Tax Payer you could increase the value of your gift by using the Gift Aid scheme. In order to increase the value of your gift by 25% you have 2 options. You will either need to fill out and send us a Gift Aid Declaration form or sign up for a giving account through Stewardship, an organisation we have partnered with for many years to take advantage of this.
